Burton Construction, Inc. asserts its positive involvement within the local community on a daily basis.

Activities performed in the normal course of business, and the activities of the company and its individual employees during their personal time, demonstrate overwhelming support for the development and preservation the Spokane community and the other communities we work in. As a company, we have had the privilege of working with both the Wishing Star Foundation and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, in building playhouses to fulfill the desires of local youths suffering from cancer and kidney disease. BCI also participates in collecting food for the food drives and other community-sponsored events. Along with the collective activities of the company, the employees of Burton Construction, Inc. give graciously of their time and talents to further enrich their communities.

The employees of Burton Construction, Inc. individually support Spokane and the Inland Northwest in a number of amazing different ways. Many are active members in community-focused clubs, local churches, and other Faith-based organizations. A number of our employees are supporters, coaches, and participants in local school sporting activities and functions. Others in the company reach out by taking on leadership roles in programs that focus on the health and welfare of the community through Special Olympics, the Nephcure Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, the 3 R’s Program, Meals on Wheels, and the Women’s Cancer Research Foundation. Others take a proactive role in the preservation of the area and the environment by giving their time to local historical societies, state parks, and recreational facilities. Burton Construction, Inc. takes pride in the accomplishments and generosity of every employee. It is the positive, giving personalities of each individual that aid in maintaining the forward momentum of our communities.

Swing For The Cure
Jerry Burton and BCI have put on a golf tournament, in honor of Jerry’s late wife, Judy Burton, to raise money for Women’s cancer research. The golf tournament started in 2011 and occurs every year at the end of August. Jerry is now a board member with the foundation.
